Strut Your Mutt

We’re raising money to help end the street dog population in Dallas, Texas. And we plan on having a lot of fun doing it.

“The mission of Duck Team 6 is to reduce the street dog population through Capture, Placement, and Outreach.” Since 2010 we have captured hundreds of dogs from the streets and found permanent, loving homes for them. We rely on your support to help us continue to bring awareness to the stray, abused, neglected, and homeless dogs in the Dallas area.

Strut Your Mutt is a dog walk, 5K run, and dog-themed festival benefiting animal welfare groups and Best Friends Animal Society as they work to save the lives of pets in shelters and on the streets.

Every day, more than 9,000 pets are killed in America’s shelters simply because they don’t have safe places to call home. That number should be zero. And our Strut Your Mutt fundraising team is helping to make it happen. But we need your help, too.

The money we raise will be used in our community to fund programs to ultimately impact the number of dogs living on the streets of Dallas.
