Cooper went missing from his home in Argyle on October 6. Two days ago he was spotted by Good Samaritan, Jennifer, living in a wooded area in Denton about 8 miles away. She put out food and water for him and yesterday after seeing most of the food gone, we were contacted to assist with trapping him. We set everything up yesterday afternoon but he didn’t find our trap. We locked it open and after seeing him all through the night on our camera going in and eating the food, his owners went out early this morning and set the trap. Within an hour, they had him! Cooper has lost a lot of weight but seems to be unharmed after 7 weeks on the run. Thank you to his Good Samaritan and other residents for watching out for him! His owners followed our instructions and we are relieved he was caught so quickly!
